In my role as a Solutions Architect, I set up a virtual machine running Ubuntu 22.04 within Hetzner's Finland data center. I then proceeded to install and configure the Unifi Network Application, enhancing its security with an auto-renewing Lets Encrypt SSL Certificate. To ensure optimal performance, I fine-tuned the application according to Unifi's best practice recommendations. The current controller efficiently manages a network encompassing 100+ sites and 500+ Unifi devices.
